Hawker Street Market is presenting our second Izakaya Night in downtown Phoenix at Heritage Square.

The term Izakaya means, “stay sake shop” in Japanese. The term is used for drinking and snacking taverns in Japan. They are places where people gather and share memories together over great food and ever flowing drinks. Hawker Street Market is transforming Heritage Square into the popular Izakaya alleyways of Japan to bring together the local community over traditional Japanese drinking and street foods.

ALL tickets types includes tastings for Japanese spirits, including sakes, spirits and cocktails.

Attendees get full access to samples and a mini night market.

In addition to drinking come enjoy tons of food and entertainment, including:

  • 10+ Food and Retail vendors with Japanese street food and goods

  • Music

  • Light Show

  • Sake Barrel Breaking Ceremony

Things to remember before you arrive:

  • BRING ID event is 21+ ID check will be at the door

  • NO Weapons are allowed at event

  • NO illegal substances or smoking will be allowed at event

  • NO outside drinks or food allowed at event

  • Water will be available on site

  • Non-alcoholic drinks will be available on site for purchase

  • Masks are required for all non-vaccinated and high risk populations

  • Staff will stagger entry as needed to provide safety for attendees so please be patient with us

  • Social distancing is recommended during the event

  • Hand washing and sanitation stations will be available on site for attendees

  • Any attendees violating protocol will be removed from the premises

Heritage Square is located on the SW corner of Monroe and 7th Street. Main entry into the event will be at 6th Street.

Parking is available on site at Heritage Square Parking Garage, special event fees may apply.

Ride share is strongly encouraged. Please stay safe and don’t drink and drive!
